LOOK WHO IS SITTING UP! Of course he can't hold himself up very long but he sure is working on it. I'm so in love with this little boy and I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that he is a Momma's Boy! It's crazy how fast he is growing. I fed him his first real banana yesterday and he LOVED it. He ate every last bit of it!
He has been eating so good from a spoon and I can't wait to introduce him to new foods. My in-laws got me the baby food maker from Williams-Sonoma and I'm chomping at the bits to make some fun meals for him.But I know I need to take it slow. I have some pictures of Shawn feeding Hutch his oatmeal...and it was a huge mess. I, on the other hand, am pretty good about keeping him pretty clean during meals. :) I will say that he has started grabbing the spoon and pulling it towards his mouth which does make it a little difficult to keep him clean. I'll post those soon.
He has rolled over a few times now! He rolled from his tummy to his back first on Shawn's birthday! I was in the kitchen cleaning when I heard silence...I have learned to check on him when you hear nothing...and he was sound asleep on his tummy. I had laid him on his back...I MISSED THE FIRST TIME HE ROLLED OVER FROM HIS BACK. I called Shawn to tell him and almost cried. I'll admit that I am a cry baby now that I have had Hutch. I get emotional at the silliest things...The Office? Really? That's supposed to be a funny show.
Here are some more of his 4 month pictures that I took the other morning. Enjoy!
His lips crack me up in this one :)
I love the little details of my baby.

Midnight talker
For the last week Hutch has been waking up in the middle of the night or early morning to practice his talking skills for a few minutes and then go back to sleep. He wakes us up every time and we can't help but lay there and laugh a little. I put the camera by the bed so I could catch a little of it the other morning. It's pretty early so there is nothing to watch...just listen. It's precious.
Talking to the TV
Hutch loves to talk to the TV! Anytime we are watching it and someone comes on he is TALKING. He and Shawn were watching ESPN the other day and he decided to talk to Tiger Woods...

16 Weeks and a swimming party!
Hutch Irvin is 16 weeks today! I say this every time but he is such a sweet baby too. This past weekend was our nephew Brenden's 2nd birthday party! It was at the Tech leisure pool...and it was fantastic. I wasn't to keen on the idea of getting into a swimsuit 3 months after having a baby but it was well worth it! Hutch and daddy had fun too!

Check out that handsome boy in his new trunks!
Auntie Ray had to take a break and feed him...with the birthday hat on!
And of course he had to tell Papa and Meme all about his first swimming experience...
Let's see, what's new with Hutch? Well, we were able to make the 3.5 hour drive to Lubbock without stopping...and we were able to do the same coming home! He still hasn't rolled over...but I just know it will happen soon. He is going 11-12 hours between his last night feeding and his morning feeding...most mornings I get up before him. *See the video below to see what I get to wake up to* He LOVES to talk and he loves it when you talk back to him! He has a new jumper that he enjoys...it has a chicken and boy are they friends hehe. He is wearing 3-6 month outfits...sometimes 9 month outfits. He's in size 3 diapers...which is big...I want him to still be in NB. I think he will sing because anytime I sing to him he "sings" back :) and let's face it...I sing to him a lot. He should be able to sing Colbie Caillat, Dave Barnes and many others by the time he is actually talking. We are headed to Dallas this weekend so expect more pictures and posts soon!
OH and here is a sweet picture of Hutch's future wife Charli...haha just kidding but seriously how precious is this?? Charli is 4 weeks old now and the baby girl to our dear friends Jeff and Ashley. Cute side note...Jeff and Ashley have a 3 year old boy "Nicko". Well Ashley and I were sitting at the table feeding Hutch and Charli, and burping and hugging on them, when we notice Nicko walk in the room with a baby doll. We kept watching him and he was loving on the baby doll just like we were loving on our sweet babies. It warmed my heart. Charli has a great big brother!!
Laura and Cory
One of my very best friends is getting married in December and I was asked to take their engagement pictures! We had lots of fun driving all over Lubbock looking for fun places to take pictures. I think my favorites were on the Tech campus under some trees that I have always thought would be a good picture location. There are two rows of big trees that come together into an arch which is beautiful in itself...but then you add these two...and well...
Here are some more of my favorites! There are so many good ones but way to many to post! Basically what it boils down to is...they are very pretty.
Morning Baby
I absolutely love waking up to Hutch Irvin in the mornings. He is such a happy baby and always gives me big smiles. He isn't as smiley this morning...but he's still happy! Enjoy!

Sweetest. Laugh. Ever.
So this is beyond precious and I could watch it all day long. My mom is here and is so wonderful with Mr. Hutch. I have a video of Hutch waking up and he is so very happy in the morning...it starts my day off great. This video confirms that. He hadn't been awake long when "Meme" got him and made him laugh!! Enjoy it!!!!
