Wesley VS The bath

So, Wesley HATES his bath time. During the winter months we bathe the dogs inside which makes it that much worse for Wes. He doesn't seem to mind being bathed outside during the summer months but the winter...Oh boy. I laugh each time I watch this video. Watch how Wes leans against the chair when Shawn tries to get him to the shower. I know we should be a little more strict and make him obey but this is really the only time Wes is rotten and I love it. *Disclaimer..I feel like I should mention that we do not bathe the dogs in the same shower that we use! We have 3...ours, the guest and the dogs. This would be the dog's. Enjoy :)

3 Months

Hutch Irvin is 3 months old! Geez where has time gone?  He is pretty much changing overnight these days.  One day he is spitting up constantly and still waking up around 4 and the next he's eating his entire bottle without spitting up...or spewing! AND he is sleeping through the night. He's been doing this for quite a while actually but he just recently started sleeping 9-10 hours at night.

I know that he will be rolling over any day now. He's so close! He is talking up a storm too. We hear new noises everyday. He takes two really big naps during the day (one in the morning and one around 6 or so) and then a few small naps in between those times...when he's played too hard :)

Shawn and I just stare at him all the time and feel so blessed to have him as our son.  He is seriously beautiful...I know I know..he's a boy. But come on...LOOK AT THIS...

I don't know about you but I just can't handle it. Yesterday, Shawn had him propped up on his leg and Hutch pulled himself up to sitting position! He just sat there kind of like..."Whoa, what did I do?". He's just getting so big. Here are some more of his 3 month pictures:

I'm officially obsessed with posting video now that I know how. I haven't quite figured out how to write stuff on the same post though...I'll work on that. So, get ready for lots of video. Our goal with this blog is to allow friends and family to watch Hutch grow along with us. You might even get a few bonus videos of the pups now and then...because let's face it...they are our 4 legged babies. I found a sweet video of Wesley and his bath time...for those of you who know Wes...he HATES bath time and its adorable.  It's normally a battle to get him in...

12 Weeks and counting...

So, I've been rather lazy in the blogging world lately.  Sorry. Hutch on the other hand has not been lazy in the growing world! He's 12 weeks and 13 lbs! What a sweet baby he is as well. He is sitting in his swing just talking to the world as we speak. I love his sweet little voice. He is making all sorts of new noises lately. He LOVES playing on his jungle mat AKA "Six Flags".  Shawn came up with calling it Six Flags haha. He said that Hutch has just as much fun playing on his mat as we do when we go to Six Flags...so that's where he came up with that.

We've been busy busy busy lately and I don't foresee it slowing down anytime soon.  Two of my very best friends are getting married..one in December and the other in April!! I'm pretty excited about it too. The last time we went to Lubbock I took some pictures of Lindsey and Brad and they turned out pretty good! I was rather excited about it.  Here is one of my favorites:

Aren't they beautiful? I'm sure they are sick of me saying it but...well they are. We will be going into Lubbock for Brenden's SECOND birthday (crazy by the way) and I plan on taking Laura and Cory's pictures too for fun! I've posted all of these pictures on Facebook but I know that we have a few readers who are not on Facebook and don't get our weekly emails of Hutch's pictures...so here are a few you might enjoy :)
